GDS’ Dynamic Pressure Controller (SIG3) is a dynamic pump for the precise & rapid regulation and measurement of fluid pressure and volume change. Located on the side of the machine, the SIG3 is able to dynamically control cell pressure up to 1MPa. The SIG3 controller allows the user to apply radial cyclic loading in addition to axial cyclic loading whilst automatically compensating for the fluctuations in the cell pressure due to the ram entering and leaving the cell.
The SIG3 can be used with an Enterprise Level Dynamic Triaxial Testing System (ELDYN), an Advanced Dynamic Triaxial Testing System (DYNTTS) and Small-Strain Hollow Cylinder Apparatus (GDSHCA). When used with GDS’ ELDYN a pneumatic controller is no longer required.
